Elizabeth (Elie) Raflowitz grew up in Connecticut with a stint of living three years as an expat in Tokyo, Japan. She now lives in Boston working as a publicist and travels as much as she can. In her first 30 years, she succeeded one of her life goals of visiting all seven continents. Now, to visit all countries.
Elizabeth created The Trav’elr – titled with the inclusion of her initials ‘ELR’ – as a way to share her experiences when friends would ask for recommendations. It is now a source of travel adventures, tips, places to go, and photos from around the world to encourage others to pursue their wanderlust and embrace other cultures through travel.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University, a master’s degree from Northeastern University, and is an alumna of Semester at Sea Fall ’05.
